To celebrate the Fresh Food Market Hall’s grand opening, and our redevelopment’s first major milestone, we are inviting you to The Glen’s Your Market Festival, which will run from Thursday, 19 October - Sunday, 22 October.
The four day festival will be filled with plenty of activities that the whole family can enjoy including cooking demonstrations, food sampling, kids food workshops, live entertainment, giveaways and more. See all the Your Market Festival events below and start planning your weekend.

Be inspired by Australia’s top chefs as they showcase their famous and favourite recipes featuring ingredients from our new Fresh Food Market Hall.

The Coles Kitchen:
“The Wholehearted Cook”, former MasterChef contestant Dani Venn, will be cooking up her favourite family recipes and sharing her approach to healthy eating.

Food As Art:
Think you’re a whiz in the kitchen? You’ll be blown away by the food carving skills and creativity of Daniele Barresi, our food artist in residence. Visit the ‘Food As Art’ exhibition and see Daniele live carving everything from paw paws to pumpkins.

Cut down time spent in the kitchen by visiting The Glen’s Produce Butcher, where you can have your fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs cut, diced and prepared for you by our resident chefs.

The Picnic Spot with special guest, the Kitchen Ninja:
Kids will love the activities available across the four-day festival at the dedicated children’s area, The Picnic Spot. Special guest Andy Trieu, the Kitchen Ninja from SBS’ Kitchen Whiz, will run a series of kids’ workshops across the weekend, getting them excited about fresh food. There will also be spun fairy floss, a food balloon artist to inspire creativity and colouring stations thanks to Crayola.

Chandon Bubbles Bar:
Celebrate the opening of The Glen’s new Fresh Food Market Hall with a complimentary glass of bubbles, courtesy of Chandon, Australia’s favourite sparkling. Try the new Chandon S with a ‘hint of orange’ for added fresh fruit vibes.
